Dr. Maria Kares is a General Dentist at Life Dental in New Westminster
Dr. Kares is a friendly and dedicated general dentist who believes that great dental care starts with genuine connection. Known for her warm, approachable nature, she strives to make every patient feel at ease — whether they’re coming in for a routine checkup or a more complex treatment. After earning a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from University College Cork in Ireland, Dr. Kares has continued to grow her skills with advanced training in areas such as cosmetic dentistry, restorative care, and modern dental technology.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Kares enjoys drawing, traveling, cooking, and spending quality time with her husband and their dog. She recently moved to beautiful British Columbia and has loved exploring the nature, mountains, and ocean views the province has to offer. Dr. Kares is also deeply passionate about giving back; she has taken part in dental outreach programs in both Kenya and Egypt, providing care to underserved communities and making a meaningful impact through her work.
